About Cell Valley Group

Cell Valley Group was founded by a team of Chinese scientists with academic and research backgrounds in the United States and Hong Kong. Its founding members are alumni of Harvard University, Cornell University, Columbia University, and the University of California, San Diego, bringing extensive expertise and an international perspective to the group.

The group has established a Cell Production Center in Pingshan District, Shenzhen; a Viral Vector Production Center in Zhongshan Torch Development Zone; and a Northern R&D Center in Daxing District, Beijing. Its five wholly owned subsidiaries are Shenzhen Cell Valley, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley, Guangzhou Cell Valley, Guangdong Junhou Biotechnology, and Beijing Jingshen Cell Valley.

Cell Valley Group operates more than 10,000 square meters of GMP-compliant production facilities and R&D laboratories, including two internationally compliant P2 biosafety laboratories in Shenzhen and Zhongshan.

Core Technologies

The group's key technological capabilities include:

• China's first clinical-grade retroviral vector GMP production line, completed in 2020

• A library of more than 100 clinical-grade viral vectors

• The eVLP-KOKI gene editing and delivery system

• China's first GMP-grade large-scale production line for NK-cell and γδT-cell exosomes

Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley

In February 2025, Cell Valley Group established Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley (Shenzhen) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. in the Qianhai Free Trade Zone with a registered capital of RMB 100 million.

As the group's international business and medical services headquarters, the company serves markets across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Its business focuses on cell and gene therapy solutions, alongside wellness, medical aesthetics, and healthy aging services.

The company integrates the group's technologies in clinical-grade viral vector production, gene editing and delivery, stem cells, immune cells, and exosomes to provide integrated cell and gene therapy and health management services.
